More space, less heat loss, full standing height

The roof shape runs through to the windshield like a spoiler. This creates extra legroom, especially for taller individuals. At the same time, the roof does not need to open as far, which reduces flapping in bad weather and minimizes heat loss through the tent fabric in cold regions. Despite the compact opening, full standing height is maintained.

Insulated sandwich panel – lighter, stronger, quieter

The roof panel is made from an insulated sandwich panel rather than aluminium. This makes it significantly lighter than most pop-top systems, more rigid and torsion-resistant, far better insulated against heat, cold and condensation, and noticeably quieter on the road. The lower weight also improves the Defender's handling.

Dual gas struts – safety and higher roof load

Our pop-top uses two gas struts per side. If one strut ever fails, the roof remains fully functional. The dual-strut design also reduces stress on the front hinge and allows for higher roof loads — ideal for solar panels or lightweight gear. Unlike single-strut or electric systems, the roof is always manually operable.

Ideal for camper and travel-vehicle conversions

Perfect for converting your Defender into a capable travel vehicle or camper. In the Netherlands, the roof qualifies for camper registration with a 50% road tax reduction. In many other European countries, similar tax benefits may apply for camper-classified vehicles.

Durable powder coating in any RAL colour

As standard, the roof is matte-black powder-coated with a textured finish. Any RAL colour is available on request.

Hand-built — entirely in our own workshop

Every roof is built entirely by us. We cut, weld and powder-coat all components in-house using our own laser system, ensuring maximum precision.
