Because the roof needs to open less widely, it reduces flapping in bad weather and minimizes heat loss in cold climates. Despite the compact opening, you still enjoy full standing height inside.

The roof shell is made from an insulated sandwich panel instead of aluminum. This makes our roof:
- lighter than most pop-top systems
- stronger and more rigid
- far better insulated against heat, cold and condensation
- quieter while driving
The reduced weight also improves the Defender's driving dynamics.
🔧 Dual gas struts for safety and higher roof load
Our pop-top uses two gas struts per side, providing major benefits:
- remains functional even if one strut fails
- reduces stress on the front hinge
- allows for higher roof loads, ideal for solar panels or lightweight gear
Unlike single-strut or electric systems, the roof always remains manually operable.
