More space, less heat loss, full standing height<\/h3>\n\n\n

The roof shape runs through to the windshield like a spoiler. This creates extra legroom, especially for taller individuals. At the same time, the roof does not need to open as far, which reduces flapping in bad weather and minimizes heat loss through the tent fabric in cold regions. Despite the compact opening, full standing height is maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insulated sandwich panel \u2013 lighter, stronger, quieter<\/h3>\n\n\n

The roof panel is made from an insulated sandwich panel rather than aluminium. This makes it significantly lighter than most pop-top systems, more rigid and torsion-resistant, far better insulated against heat, cold and condensation, and noticeably quieter on the road. The lower weight also improves the Defender's handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dual gas struts \u2013 safety and higher roof load<\/h3>\n\n\n

Our pop-top uses two gas struts per side. If one strut ever fails, the roof remains fully functional. The dual-strut design also reduces stress on the front hinge and allows for higher roof loads \u2014 ideal for solar panels or lightweight gear. Unlike single-strut or electric systems, the roof is always manually operable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ideal for camper and travel-vehicle conversions<\/h3>\n\n\n

Perfect for converting your Defender into a capable travel vehicle or camper. In the Netherlands, the roof qualifies for camper registration with a 50% road tax reduction. In many other European countries, similar tax benefits may apply for camper-classified vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durable powder coating in any RAL colour<\/h3>\n\n\n

As standard, the roof is matte-black powder-coated with a textured finish. Any RAL colour is available on request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hand-built \u2014 entirely in our own workshop<\/h3>\n\n\n

Every roof is built entirely by us. We cut, weld and powder-coat all components in-house using our own laser system, ensuring maximum precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bed Plate<\/h3>\n\n\n

We supply a lightweight, extremely strong sandwich bed plate with a stainless-steel edge. It adds safety in the event of an accident and provides thermal insulation \u2014 more comfortable in hot and cold weather, with significantly less condensation.<\/p>\n\n\n

If desired, we can design and build the complete interior of your Defender. We fabricate very lightweight yet strong aluminium cabinets. Because aluminium panels are thinner than wood, the cabinets offer more usable storage space.<\/p>\n\n\n

We have standard 250cm awnings in stock, but can of course supply other sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n

We specialise in off-grid electrical systems for campers and overland vehicles. We work with lithium batteries, solar panels and Victron Energy components. From a simple dual-battery setup to a full off-grid system with 230V inverter \u2014 anything is possible.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
