With this towbar extension for your bike carrier, the tow ball sits 35 cm further back. That's 10 cm more than most competitors, who only offer a 25 cm extension. On a Defender, 25 cm is often just too short — our 35 cm ensures every standard bike carrier really fits, on both the New Defender (L663) and the Classic Defender. Load capacity up to 75 kg.
Clip-on, no tools needed
The extension clips onto the tow ball in one movement — no tools needed. Bike carriers on the spare wheel put too much strain on the rear door and the bikes have to be lifted high; with this extension that's a thing of the past. Universal: fits any towbar with an ISO 50 mm ball. Not intended for towing trailers.
